Thailand has adopted the GHS. The Thai Ministry of Industry published the law, The Classification System and Communication of the Hazards of the Hazardous Substance 2555 BC, on 12 March 2012.

The law adopts all building blocks or GHS according to Rev 3, and provides a 1 year phase-in for substances (until 13 March 2013) and 5 year phase-in for mixtures (13 March 2017).
